Residents in Beeston are being urged to join in a community clean up on Thursday afternoon (20 February 2014).
Under the slogan ‘Love Beeston Clean Beeston’, the plan is also to speak to local residents about keeping the streets clean and tidy and not dropping litter. There is a chance to meet staff from organisations working in the area including the city council and find out about the work of the Beeston Junior Wardens.
Residents are asked to meet at the Hamara Centre on Tempest Road at 2pm and to dress up warm. Safety equipment will be provided.
