Middleton Park's set for a revamp

Here’s an update of events in Middleton Park courtesy of the Friends of Middleton Park Group…

The 2011 summer season of Sunday Events in the Park has now finished. However there are a few autumn events, details below.

This autumn the Lakeside Centre in the Park will be demolished, and work will start on a new, larger centre. we hope this should be finished and ready for use by August 2012.

In 2012 the Friends will be running Sunday afternoon events in the park. These will start on Sun 6th May and Mon 7th May with the popular Bluebell walks in the Woods.

The City council Parks and Countryside Rangers organise events in Middleton park and in other Parks etc around Leeds.

The Friends of Middleton Park are always in need of more willing hands. Please email us on info@fomp.co.uk if you would like to help out in any way possible.

All events will be close to where the Lakeside Centre is/was, unless stated otherwise.
