Leeds Girls Can are supporting Women’s Lives Leeds – Safer Streets initiative with a 2 week event on Holbeck Moor with a range of women’s and family activities on offer in March.
The initiative aims to create a safe space for women and girls in our parks and green spaces.
There are activities such as self-defence, table tennis, buggy walks, family sports and much more, see the full programme below.
Come on down over the next two weeks and take part in one – or more – of our FREE events for women and girls of all ages, no booking required.

- Self Defence 10am-12pm
Wednesday 9 March:
- Ping Pong 9:15-11:15am
Thursday 10 March:
- Female only Rugby 10-11am
- Self Defence 1-3pm
- Family Sports (under 11) 3:30-5pm
Friday 11 March:
- Rollerskating 10am-12pm
- Skateboarding 10am-12pm
- Health and wellbeing walk 1-2pm
- Buggy walk/run 1-2pm
Wednesday 16 March:
- Ping Pong 9:15-11:15am
- Community Picnic 12-1pm
Thursday 17 March:
- Rugby 10-11am
- Skateboarding 10am-12pm
- Family Sports (under 11) 3:30-5pm
Friday 18 March:
- Buggy walk/run 1-2pm
- Health and wellbeing walk 1-2pm
- Rollerskating 3:30-5pm
