Free girls rugby sessions launched in Hunslet

The Hunslet Club and Hunslet ARLFC are excited to announce the launch of free girls’ rugby sessions for young players in the local community. These sessions offer an opportunity for girls to engage in the sport, develop new skills, and become part of a growing rugby community.

We are thrilled to introduce Noah Gascoigne former Bradford Bulls U19’s girls coach to build our girls section. We can’t wait to see it grow.

The sessions will take place at The Oval, Hunslet (LS10 2AT) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The sessions are open to girls of all abilities, from beginners to those with previous experience. The schedule is designed to accommodate different age groups:

  • Ages 8-11: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
  • Ages 12-15: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

These sessions are completely free and provide a supportive, fun environment for girls to try rugby, make new friends, and get active.

The sessions are open to all girls in the local area and beyond, and no previous rugby experience is required. Whether they are looking to learn the basics or improve their skills, these sessions are a perfect way to get involved.
