A child was treated by Yorkshire Ambulance Service for smoke inhalation following a house fire in Holbeck today (21 February 2022).
The fire, which started in a bedroom, occured at a property on Meynell Square. West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service were called at 1:50pm and sent units from Hunslet and Leeds (Kirkstall Road) stations. Firefighters using breathing apparatus put out the fire with one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
