Emily’s Adventure is an interactive story walk that takes you back in time to discover some of the most infamous names in Holbeck’s past.
Along the way you will take in some of the area’s incredible architecture, from Tower Works to the old library on Nineveh Road to Temple Works, once the largest room in the world.
Created for families, school groups and those interested in discovering more about their local area, walkers will be given an A5 booklet of the illustrated story, with directions and a map.
They can then independently set off on the adventure, gathering clues to solve the mysterious disappearance of her coach driver and help Emily get to the ball.
Written by Slung Low collaborator Oliver Senton and illustrated by award-winning theatre designer Rachana Jadhav, this booklet is all you need to take a guided trail through Holbeck.
With references to the rich history it holds, this walk will be unlike any before; as well as deciphering the secret code that Emily needs, you will also discover the wonders that your own backyard has to offer.
