The folks at St Mary’s in Beeston (the church opposite the Co-op on Town Street) are very busy this month, starting with a plant sale and coffee morning on Saturday (2 June 2018).
The coffee morning will raise money for St Gemma’s Hospice. The event takes place from 10am-2pm in the Parish Centre next to the church.
Then on Saturday 23 June 2018 the church is hosting a Strawberry Fair and church open day. The church is usually only open for services, but this a chance to have a look round, find out more about the church and ask questions. Perhaps you or a family member were baptised or married in the church?
The event runs from 11am-3pm, plenty of time to look round, visit the stalls and, of course, have a strawberry cream tea!
