Environmental project is Green For Go

Groundwork Green for GoIf you join the Green For Go project you could find yourself planting up an allotment, building a bird box or taking part in a community tidy up.

Groundwork Leeds have launched the Green for Go project which provides regular environmental learning opportunities for adults with a range of needs. The project is based at the Lady Pit Lane allotments in Beeston and runs two days per week.

Don’t worry if you’ve never picked up a spade, the friendly Green For Go staff will teach you everything you need to know.

Green For Go is for anyone over 19 who is unemployed and enjoys practical skills. The project welcomes people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities or mental health problems.
