The local council elections are fast approaching. If you want a say in who represents south Leeds on Leeds City Council you must make sure you are registered to vote.
The Council elections take place on Thursday 5 May 2016, but the deadline for registering is midnight on Monday 18 April. Registration can be done online and only takes a few minutes. You will need your National Insurance number handy.

As well as the Council elections, people across West Yorkshire will be electing their Police & Crime Commissioner on 5 May.
The European Union referendum takes place on Thursday 23 June and to vote you must be registered by 7 June.
