Dog stolen from Dewsbury Road

Officers in Leeds have issued a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to in connection to the theft of a dog.

The dog, a German Shepherd named Rocky, was in the rear of a premises on Dewsbury Road, Beeston, when an unknown woman walked into the garden and coaxed the dog with food on 28 May 2021 at around 4pm.

Rocky walked over to the woman, who then placed a lead on him and walked off on foot.

Despite officers conducting several enquires, Rocky has not yet been located and are appealing for the public to help identify the woman who may be able to assist.

  1. Disgusting that some lowlife has taken a family’s pet dog.hope someone recognise the woman and notify the police and get Rocky back to his owner
