The opening of the new ‘Sphinx Square’ garden area is due to be held on Saturday 5th of May from 2-5 with Hilary Benn and a local councillor opening the area to the rear of the shops.
The area is where the old Sphynx pub – AKA Cottingley Arms – used to be until it was demolished last year.
The majority of the events will be held in the Community Centre. A free family funday is planned, South Leeds Life will provide full details as soon as they’re available.
