Council services over Christmas and New Year

Leeds-City-Council-LogoLeeds City Council is shutting many of its buildings over the Christmas period between 24 December and 2 January, but essential services will still be running.

Dewsbury Road One Stop Centre is one of the few buildings staying open during this time, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. General enquiries can be made 0113 222 4444.

Councillor Keith Wakefield, leader of Leeds City Council said:

“We’ll be ensuring services are still being provided whilst enabling the council to save public money by closing some buildings which are not used or are in low demand over this period. Rest assured although buildings are closed, the council is still contactable and will be well equipped if an emergency situation occurs.”
