Charlies-Angel-Centre burglary CCTV images released

Police have released CCTV Images of two men they want to identify over a burglary at the Charlies-Angel-Centre Foundation charity in Beeston.

The incident happened at their bereavement centre in Ashbrooke Park, Parkside Lane, Beeston at 9:30pm on Thursday 5 December 2019. A number of tablet computers, an Xbox console and a television were stolen.

Clive Key from the charity told South Leeds Life:

“Being burgled whether its your business or your home is devastating, working hard to provide for your family or like Charlies-Angel-Centre Foundation fundraising for over 6 years so we could open a bereavement centre in Leeds, that provides free bereavement support for families that have lost a baby or child.

“We took pride in making sure every room was decorated and named after children who had gone too soon. Finding out we had been burgled devastated us, we feel mental and physically shattered, but amongst the mess and the loss of our belongings, we took hope and strength from the many many people who have helped us and restored our faith in humans once again.

“But now we need your help once again, the police have issued the CCTV images of 2 suspects they would like to talk to, if you know or think you know these people please come forward.”

Anyone who recognises the men in the images or who has any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact PCSO 940 Gill at Elland Road Police Station via 101 quoting crime reference 13190623245 or online via www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat

Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
