BIEWI Easter Lunch

I was invited along to the 59 Club on Belle Isle Circus by Sonny (where were you Sonny?), run by Belle Isle Elderly Winter Aid last Friday (6 April 2018). Members were been treated to a late Easter Lunch.

I was offered a coffee by Steve, who went on to organise the quiz, raffle and bingo

When I got there the tables had been cleared of the lunch and members were ready for the raffle, bingo and results from the quiz.

Carol won the quiz with getting 8 out of ten of the question right. Well done Carol, who of course received an Easter Egg.

Leslie won the lottery/raffle winning £40. Leslie chose to have money as a cheque rather then put into her account.

The lunch ended with bingo (what else) played for £1 a line or £5 a full house.

Belle Isle Elderly Winter Aid (BIEWA) offers social groups for anyone over the age of 60 who live in Belle Isle and is a member of Belle Isle Elderly Winter Aid.

BIEWA have over 20 day trips throughout year.

You can find out more about the centre here BIEWA

I left the centre after a couple of hours to write this up for the blog and edit the photos.
