There were more than a hundred pupils of Windmill Primary School ,who sang out lustily on the freezing cold Thursday afternoon.
The switching on of the lights was done by the ward councillors who led the children in a countdown. Christmas greetings were extended to the children and the community by Councillors Kim Groves, Judith Blake, Paul Truswell, BITMO’s Chris Simspon, the school Head Teacher and Al Henry.
Meanwhile on Saturday 15th December the annual Christmas Market will be held at St. Cross Church Middleton 11-2:PM
