Beeston meeting aims to tackle Leeds-wide empty housing problems

Leeds-based social entrepreneurs Gill Coupland and Rob Greenland are aiming to tackle the number of empty houses in Leeds with an event at Beeston’s The Greenhouse next month.

Gill and Rob were inspired to start the project after moving to Beeston.

On their super new ‘Leeds Empties’ blog, they write:

“At a time when thousands of people in our city live in homes that don’t meet their needs, we think this is unacceptable. And we want to do something about it.

“Our Call To Action – on 16th May at The Greenhouse in Leeds – will bring together 100 people who can help to bring hundreds more homes back into use.”
