Beeston Juniors score thanks to Asda donation

The new Asda Leeds Beeston store has made a generous donation to Beeston Juniors AFC.

AFC

Beeston Juniors AFC are a not for profit organisation and have recently expanded in size from 3 junior teams to 9, in a short space of time. As a club they believe that football should be affordable and available to all children.

The £300 funding has been used to purchase brand new kit and equipment for the club.

Community Life Champion, Debbi Jackson, arranged the donation. She commented:

“The club are situated behind our new store. They are an important part of the community and it’s great that we can help local children to have fun whilst exercising.”

Janine Findlay, fundraiser for Beeston Juniors AFC said:

“On behalf of the club I would like to say a huge thank you to Debbi and the Asda Beeston store.

“The donation will be used to help purchase some brand new equipment for the summer season.”
