August activities and food at BITMO’s Gate

Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation (BITMO) has announced a programme of “free* food and activities three days a week all summer” culminating in a Summer Festival Finale and barbecue on Thursday 31 August 2023.

Activities will include sports and games; drama workshop; dance, ping pong, climbing wall, inflatables, go karts and den building.

Free food is available to tenants of BITMO, Leeds Federated and Places for People in Belle Isle. Hot meals are served on Mondays 4-6pm; on Wednesdays sandwich packs are available to eat in or takeaway from 12:30pm; and Friday sees the Breakfast Club run from 9:30-11:30am.

Children’s theatre group Wrongsemble will be bringing their show The (Not So) Big Bad Wolf to BITMO on Wednesday 16 August. Little Red Riding Hood is on a mission to debunk the myths around her so called nemesis, with the help of a few storybook favourites, her red invisibility cloak, and a basket full of music, mayhem and magic tricks! Suitable for children aged 4+.

BITMO’s Gate is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9am-1pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-7pm. Regular weekly events include the MINT men’s group, help to stop smoking and to find employment, and a guitar group.
