Arts apprenticeship opportunity at The Tetley

The Tetley art gallery has created an apprenticeship vacancy and they are keen to get applications from people living in South Leeds.

The successful applicant will be employed as an apprentice for one year and during this time will gain experience in all aspects of the operation of a contemporary art centre, primarily through providing support to the Programme team, within which this role is based.

Whilst working in this role, they will also be studying with an accredited education provider for an Intermediate Community Arts Administration qualification.

The Tetley are looking for someone between 16-19 years old with a passion for art and creativity and who wants to work with the public.

From this apprenticeship you could enter employment in a range of roles in arts administration, venue management, participatory arts work, event management, charity work, or undertake further study in the arts or education.
