Complaints about overcrowded trains at Cottingley and Morley stations in south Leeds have been raised through the new Fix My Transport website.
Train user Ciara Hurley says of the trains between Batley, Morley, Cottingley and Leeds:
“The conditions on the train were awful, I am used to traveling on cramped trains and I don’t remember the last time I got a seat on a morning but this was just ludacris [sic].
“We were all pushed against each other, any jolt or sudden movement of the train set us in danger of falling down like dominos and the heat in the air made me feel faint.
“I often ride cramped, hot trains and I am fed up of hearing plans to increase rail fares. “

Fix My Transport is a website built to help people get common public transport problems resolved. It is targeted specifically at smaller problems such as persistently broken ticket machines, buses that always leave early, or silly rules that appear to do nothing but create inconvenience for travellers.
