Appeal to trace missing Belle Isle teenager Amy McMahon

Police are appealing for information to trace a 14-year-old girl who has gone missing from her home in Belle Isle.

Amy McMahon was last seen in Belle Isle at about 10am on Monday, May 28.

She has contacted her grandmother a number of times since she went missing and is believed to be staying with people in the travelling community in Leeds.

Amy has been missing from home before but police are very concerned for her welfare due to her age.

She is described as white, about 4ft 10ins tall, slim with very long auburn hair.
