‘Let’s Connect’ is an Age Friendly event during Leeds Digital Festival 2019. It is a free drop-in for people aged 50+ to get practical help around using the internet and digital technology.
It is being organised by the Friendly Communities team at Leeds Older People’s Forum, and will be held at Leeds Central Library, 3rd floor, Leodis Room on Wednesday 1 May, 10.30-1.30pm
Let’s Connect will be a ‘drop in’ opportunity for older people to come along, get help with any technology/internet related queries from a team of digital champions. There is no need to book, just turn up on the day – all welcome, no matter your experience, skills or knowledge.
We’re organising the event in partnership with Leeds Libraries 100% Digital Team and other local services who offer support to older people to get online, such as Age UK Leeds and Groundwork Green Doctors. People will also be able to try out different types of technology, socialise with others over refreshments, and find out about ongoing services and support available in the city.
There’s something for everyone online – come and explore the possibilities.
