I wanted to write about Rocky, who I meet at my cooking club at Middleton.
Rocky – real name Stephen Whitehead of Health For All‘s Ace project – helps the kids so much to do sport, he is very good. He is a good caring man and without people like him to help they would not be much going on in Middleton.I hope the kids have enjoyed playing games with him. He’s really good at coaching the kids and getting them involved in sports.
On the 20 of November Rocky and his son travelled to Lancaster Hotel in London for the Unsung Sport Heroes Award by the BBC for all the good work that he as done. He was picked from 30 other sport coaches – he said anyone could have got it it is so nice that man. I hope you keep doing it for a long time as kids need coaches like you in South Leeds. Keep it up!
Rocky is a very good sport man who give up a lot of his time to kids.
