Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Leeds on Friday (31 August 2018).
The collision happened just before 8pm on Elland Road outside the football stadium and involved a pedestrian and a pedal-cyclist.
The pedestrian, a 36-year-old male, received a serious head injury in the incident and remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The cyclist involved didn’t remain at the scene.
Emergency services attended and the road was closed for a short time.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to get in contact with police.
