The summer of community galas continues this weekend with Belle Isle Gala which kicks off at 11am on Saturday (1 July 2017) at Windmill Primary School on Windmill Road in Belle Isle.
The Gala will be opened by the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Cllr Jane Dowson and the Guest of Honour will be The Deputy Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, representing the Queen. As well as plenty of entertainment and stalls, Hunslet Parkside will be running rugby activities on the playing field.
Belle Isle Gala is supported by local ward councillors on the Community Committee; Windmill Primary School and Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation (BITMO).
Hi the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire will not be coming but we have Deputy Left Tenant Major Stan Hardy coming as well as the mayor of Leeds
