Potters Resort will be taking their popular Bowls & Holiday Show to Leeds & District Indoor Bowls Club at the John Charles Centre for Sport on the evening of Wednesday 2 September 2015.
Previous shows held in various locations such as Scarborough, Croydon, Banbury, Boston and Louth have been well attended and are the perfect opportunity to try your hand at something new.
It is thought that up to a million people in the UK enjoy playing bowls at Indoor and Outdoor clubs across the country at various levels; some simply for the social aspect and some for the more competitive appeal, with thousands competing in county and national competitions throughout the year.
Bowls is a relatively economical sport to take up and so many people are not aware of the facilities and friendly atmosphere you can enjoy at your local bowls club, with many offering food & drink and social events as well as coaching for new members.
Sian Jefferies of Potters Resort who will be hosting the show says:
“These events are ideal for anyone looking to take up a new sport or hobby, or those that have wanted to try the game of bowls but not had the opportunity to pop to their local club to see first-hand their facilities. “Leeds and District Indoor Bowls Club aims to provide the means for members to partake in league bowling. The Club promotes competitive friendly bowling for all age and ability groups.
