Where can you find a fabulous community cafe serving wholesome meals, an autism support group and have fun at a family tea group?
Belle Isle Family Centre – recently nominated for a Child Friendly Leeds Award – is nestled underneath St John and St Barnabas Church off Belle Isle Road and offers a wide range of activities and friendly groups for all the family.
A warm welcome awaits at our community cafe, which serves good value hot and cold breakfasts, hot lunches, snacks and a range of drinks. It’s open 7.30am-1.30pm, Monday to Thursday.
On Mondays, you can meet up for a chat and a cuppa at the Women’s Well Being Group, which runs 1pm-3pm. Contact Linda Baker on (0113) 271 6277.
Come and join us on Tuesdays for a healthy home-cooked meal plus activities including games, arts and crafts at Fun @ Family Tea. It runs 3.30-5pm. Children £1, parents £2.50.
On Wednesdays the Jigsaw Autism Support Group meets. It runs during term time 9am-10.30am for mums and dads with autistic children to have a coffee and a chat. Search for ‘Jigsaw Autism Support Group’ on Facebook or just come along! Contact Audrey on 0113 277 5772.
And in the evenings, 6-7pm, get fit and have fun with our zumba class! Simply come along on the night – all welcome.
On Thursdays the G12 Girls Group: is aimed at teenage girls featuring variety of activities. Contact Jocelyn on 0794 4461545.
Happy Fridays! Meet for a cuppa and learn how to cook a healthy breakfast, 10am-12pm, for our Happy Fridays Breakfast Group. Contact Stephanie on 0794 0020847.
Looking to find work? Our Work Club runs alternate Fridays, from 10am-12pm. The informal club offers support to help you find a job. Contact Leanne on 0113 2774819 for more information and dates.

Dads get to spend quality time with their kids at the Saturday afternoon dad’s group. It features activities, fun and games for children and dads, with a friendly setting. It runs 1-2.30pm. Contact Chris on 07969 266059 for more.
