With the summer holidays over community life is returning to its routine and this week sees residents meeting in Hunslet Carr and Beeston on Thursday evening.
There meetings are a great way to discuss local issues and raise concerns about your neighbourhood. The meetings are attended by ward councillors, the police and often by housing or other council officers.
There is also a social side to the meetings with a chance to catch up with neighbours over some refreshments.
Hunslet Carr Residents Association meets at Woodhouse Hill Community Centre on Woodhouse Hill Road behind the New Bay Horse pub, LS10 2DN, starting at 6:30pm.
Beeston Forum meets at Beeston Village Community Centre, Beeston Park Place, off Town Street, LS11 8DQ, starting at 7:30pm.
