
Members of the public helped officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team arrest a suspected offender at a petrol station in Beeston on Thursday (15 May 2025).
The incident happended at the Woodman service station on Dewsbury Road, near the White Rose Shopping Centre.
In a post on Facebook West Yorkshire Police said:
“The male suspect had been stealing fuel and items worth nearly £250 from Woodman Service Station over the past few months, repeatedly leaving without paying.
“When detained, officers discovered he was also driving a stolen vehicle, and had no licence or insurance. He is now facing court for multiple offences.”
