We start this week at Rowland Road Social Club, LS11 7ED, where Beeston Hill Community Association has organised a Family Fun Day on Saturday from 12-5pm. Attractions include: homemade crafts; pre-loved articles; home baked goods; and free children’s activities
Hunslet Nelson Cricket Club’s Second XI take on Brighouse CC on Saturday at Gipsy Lane, Beeston, LS11 5TT starting at 12:30pm.
Also on Saturday afternoon Hunslet ARLFC entertain Egremont Rangers at The Oval, opposite Morrisons. Kick off is at 2:30pm.
On Sunday Hunslet RLFC face North Wales Crusaders at South Leeds Stadium. The kick off is at 3pm, under 16s go free with accompanying adult paying just £5. Match tickets are available from hunsletrflc.ticketco.events/uk
And finally, well it is August, the second of two sculpture workshops organised by BasementArtsProject is at St Luke’s CARES charity shop, Dewsbury Road, LS11 on Monday, 11am-1pm. Book your place here.
