Huge Vegan extravaganza in South Leeds this weekend

Over 80 fantastic stalls showcasing the best of the vegan lifestyle will feature at The Great Yorkshire Vegan Christmas Festival taking place on Sunday (6 November 2022) at the John Charles Centre for Sport.

This indoor event boasts world food caterers and free food samples. As well as offering a wide variety of festive vegan produce and gift ideas, including cakes and chocolate, hot takeaway food, make up, clothing, pet treats and gifts, this event has everything you could possibly need all under one roof.

If you are looking for an event with lots of gift ideas, new products and delicious food that you simply cannot buy at the supermarket, natural and organic skin care and cosmetics, ethical and environmental clothing, a day packed full of educational and inspirational charities and organisations, or simply a festival with no need for label-checking, which is also family friendly with FREE entry for children under 16 … you’ve come to the right place!

Featured stalls include For the Love of Earth whose handcrafted eco friendly products for hair, body and home contain no palm oil, no single use plastic and no artificial ingredients. VDogs will be selling their irresistible range of freshly cooked to order vegan hotdogs. Harper’s Bizarre will be selling their range of beautiful scented, handmade soy candles in artisan tins, run by people who love rescue animals.

Other stalls include Bo’s Book, a new vegan cookbook that makes a great Christmas gift and features simple, easy-to-follow recipes (for both dogs and humans!) with all the profits going to help needy dogs at animal welfare and education charity Miracle’s Mission.

Miracle’s Mission will be attending, which is a non-profit animal welfare organisation that works with sick, injured and disabled animals worldwide. Its mission is to provide a place of safety for animals in danger, to educate on the needs of neutering both pets and strays and to neuter stray dogs and cats to prevent the birth of more animals onto the streets. It also rehabilitates and re-homes dogs in need, often with disabilities, from its UK rescue base.

The Great Yorkshire Vegan Christmas Festival helps raise valuable funds for animal welfare charity Miracle’s Mission. 100% of any proceeds will go directly to animal welfare charities as the festival is fully volunteer run.

Also exhibiting is the ultimate vegan food and camping experience happening in June 2023 – VFest UK. This brand new upbeat event features exciting headline acts, yoga, family entertainment, fun shows, international speakers, stalls, global food caterers and much more.

The Great Yorkshire Vegan Christmas Festival takes place on Sunday 6 November 2022 from 10:30am to 4:30pm at John Charles Centre for Sport, Indoor Bowls and Athletics Centre, John Charles Approach, Belle Isle, Leeds LS11 5DJ.

Entry is £5 payable per day on the door (under 16s free) or £15 for VIP tickets in advance from Eventbrite to include fast track entry and a goody bag full of vegan products, samples, discounts and offers.
