Apple pressing day in Middleton Park

Locally, we have had a bumper Apple harvest this autumn, which is good news for the annual Apple Pressing day in Middleton Park which takes place on Sunday (23 October 2022).

There will be a hand apple crusher and press to convert the harvest to wonderful refreshing apple, and pear, juice. Yes the pear crop has been good as well.

If you have your own apples or pears, bring them along and convert them to juice – remember to bring along bottles to take the juice home! This event is a favorite with children – fun for all the family. We also have face painting and apple themed children’s crafts.

The event will be inside the visitor centre and under gazebos so we should be weather proof!

The event, which runs from 2-4pm is organised by the Friends of Middleton Park
