New management at Middleton Park Lodge

Middleton Park Lodge, an Orchard Care Home providing specialist nursing, residential and short term respite care home in Leeds, is under new management.

Laura Clegg takes up the role of Home Manager and brings with her 16 years of experience in the care sector. Since joining Orchard Care Homes, her main focus has been to get to know the residents, their families and the team at Middleton Park Lodge to enhance the quality of lives for all residents.

Laura commented:

“We strive to provide the highest quality of care and support for our residents. We are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of residents by offering our truly person-centred and individualised care.”

Sarah Armitage, Operations Director for Orchard Care Homes’ West Yorkshire Region said:

“We’re delighted to have Laura supporting residents and guiding the team at Middleton Park Lodge. Her wealth of experience and expertise paired with her determination to make a difference to the lives of the residents means they will benefit immensely.”

The home is rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care, following an inspection and assessment across five categories – safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership.

Orchard Care Homes operates two specialist homes in South Leeds: Middleton Park Lodge and Nesfield.

Quality of care and invigorating best practice is at the forefront of Orchard Care Homes’ strategy and this CQC rating is testament to the group’s impressive record to provide the highest quality of care to its residents, with 88.5% of its homes rated ‘Good’ and a 5* Food and Hygiene rating across all of Orchard Care Homes services.
