The family of a Hunslet man, now living in Sarlat, France is carrying on the fight against cancer whilst commemorating a father lost to prostate cancer last year. The late Roy Bowen, educated at Leeds Grammar School, is buried in Sarlat, the town he loved best after Leeds. After school
Local residents from Woodville Square, Belle Isle, celebrated a recent street makeover with a summer tea party. Families enjoyed the sunshine, cupcakes and fun activities from face-painting to a mosaic making workshop.
