The Hunslet Club is now able to help secure a brighter future for 48 youngsters thanks to funding secured by local councillors on the council’s Inner South Area Committee. Councillors unanimously voted to provide £30,980 to the club to support apprenticeships of up to six months for local young people.

Councillors on the South Inner Area Committee have continued with their commitment to St Luke’s Cares by agreeing to support the scheme for an additional six months. Councillor Angela Gabriel (Labour, Beeston and Holbeck), chair of the committee, is delighted her colleagues have approved funding for £28,301 to help St
