During the past two weeks Hunslet Hawks have been hosting Summer Rugby League camps at Hunslet Club Parkside Academy – the club were fantastic hosts so many thanks to Colin Cooper and Barry Anderson and family!
The children had a brilliant time on camps and not only had fun but enhanced a lot of their rugby league skills. The children were sad to see camps come to an end and already can’t wait for October Camps. At the end of camps all the children received a reading book, a free ticket to Hunslet Hawks final home game of the season against Featherstone Rovers and the opportunity to come back for that game and at half time take a conversion in front of the crowd! As well as this, individuals who trained and behaved well on camp received special awards.
There was a Trainer of the Day each day when the winner received a signed Hunslet Hawks Frisbee and also Trainer of the Camp who was Alfie Kitchingman. He received a signed Hawks ball, Hunslet Hawks calculator and a Challenge Cup Ticket!
