White Rose is buzzing with a-maze-ing summer activities

White Rose Shopping Centre is creating a buzz this summer with an array of bee-themed family fun from running until 18 September 2022.

White Rose, which is home to hives of more than 100,000 bees on its roof, is set to be in full bloom with an array of installations for the whole family to enjoy. Activities include a free, vibrant Honeybee Maze complete with a Bee Family Tree Mirror, Touch & Feel and Scratch & Sniff walls, as well as a large Bee Xylophone – perfect for snapping those summery selfies.

Guests are invited to bumble their way through the Honeybee Maze’s network of paths and hedges, explore the interactive Bee Inspired Discovery Zone, and try to hunt down the hidden Queen Bee Throne. There is even a Bumble Bee Viewing Platform to help parents and carers keep an eye on the little ones.

The bespoke Honeybee Maze is located in The Village, next to the centre’s covered, all-weather play area, making it the perfect place to keep the children entertained throughout the summer months.

Steven Foster, Centre Director at White Rose, said:

“We are thrilled to unveil our brand-new Honeybee Maze at White Rose this summer. We are sure it will create a buzz amongst our guests, and we hope to see plenty of happy faces around White Rose during the school holidays.”

To celebrate the launch of the Honeybee Maze, White Rose will be giving away £500 worth of gift vouchers. To enter, guests can share a photo with one of the gorgeous floral installations to either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, tagging White Rose.

White Rose boasts more than 100 shops including Flying Tiger, The Entertainer, Build-a-Bear Workshop, Smiggle, and more, plus family-friendly restaurants such as Five Guys, Fridays, and Nando’s – all under one roof. With more than 5,000 free parking spaces and long opening hours, from 10am – 9pm weekdays, 9am – 8pm Saturdays and 11am – 5pm Sundays, it’s easy to plan a day out to keep the kids entertained.
