We start on Saturday in Cross Flatts Park where the local Craft Market takes place at the Watsonian Pavilion from 9:30am-2pm. The School Uniform SwapShop will also be there from 11am-1pm.
It’s the Tetley Heritage Weekend marking 200 years of the brewery. There will be a range of fantastic independent artists and makers to shop from, family activities and great food and drink. Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm. The Tetley is located on Hunslet Road near Leeds Bridge in the old brewery headquarters building.
The Holbeck club hosts a Family Lego Club on Saturday at 11am, we recommend you don’t go barefoot.
You can get Energy Saving Advice from Our Future Beeston at Beeston Community Hub & Library on Town Street, drop in between 11am-1pm.
Re:establish are holding a Table top sale at Hillside, Beeston Road on Saturday afternoon, 1-4pm.
The Friends of Middleton Park kick off a summer of activities in the park with their guided Bluebell Walks on Sunday and Monday. They will be meeting the 11:20am, 12:40pm and 2:20pm Middleton Railway trains at Park Halt and walking through the woods up to the Visitor Centre and back.
Hunslet Tenants & Residents Association hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday at 6:30pm at the Church of the Nazarene on Grove Road.
Up the road the Hunslet Carr Residents Association meet on Thursday at 6:30pm at Woodhouse Hill Community Centre, round the corner from the Bay Horse pub.
Beeston Community Forum meets on Thursday at 7:30pm at Beeston Village Community Centre, off Town Street.
And finally, don’t forget to vote on Thursday in the local elections. Polling stations are open from 7am-10pm.
