West Yorkshire Police in Midldeton and Belle Isle

The Neighbourhood Policing Team for Middleton and Belle Isle were continuing tackling the ward’s priority on drugs yesterday afternoon (11 February 2025).

The team was again patrolling the car park on the junction of Aberfield Gate and Belle Isle Road. They stopped a vehicle which was trying to leave the area on seeing the team.

A subsequent search located a knife and evidence of the supply of class A drugs. Two males were arrested for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

The vehicle has been seized and later searches located further evidence linking the males. Enquiries are ongoing.
