As the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine unfolds, many individuals and organisations have set about raising support for the refugees.
Laurence Jackson is one of those people. When Laurence heard that his school, Middleton Primary, was raising funds, he set out to do his bit. With his mother’s support the Year 3 pupil went out collecting house to house in his neighbourhood.
He returned to school this morning (11 March 2022) with a massive £760!
The school commented: “We’re extremely proud of him.”
