On Wednesday 11 April 2018, during the school term break, a family fun day was held at the BITMO’s GATE and over 70 people attended the event.
Lots of families came and enjoyed the event by taking part in arts and crafts, board games, just dance and group games.
The children left their mark in the BITMO GATE by decorating a bunting flag and we have since hung the bunting up in the centre.
We are really glad to say the children were excellently behaved and really made the day fun!
The event truly had a community feel as all parents contributed in delivering the event; one of the mums brought in her speaker for the music, our volunteers Debbie Flesher and David Polwarth made sure everything ran smoothly and a number of parents helped out to serve food and drink to the kids.

We even had an entrepreneur on site. Demi Lloyd who is only 10 years of age, set up a stand and decorated many of the children and mum’s faces with glitter.
They all looked amazing! Many of the children have asked when we will be holding such an event again, as yet there are no confirmed dates but watch out for what’s coming up at the BITMO Gate!
