Summer of Sport in Cross Flatts Park

 

Young people in Beeston can look forward to a summer of sport in Cross Flatts Park thanks to a project led by Aspiring Communities.

Free activities will run every Monday and Wednesday teatime throughout August and will include:

  • Kwik Cricket
  • Volleyball
  • Rounders
  • Football
  • Hockey
  • Touch Rugby
  • Fitness Circuit
  • Ultimate Frisbee

The games will take place from 6-8pm and are for 12-16 year old boys and girls. There’s no need to book – just turn up and play.

The project has been put together by Aspiring Communities’ Beeston Steering Group which includes Hunslet Rugby Foundation and the Inner South Neighbourhood Policing Team.
