The new Asda Middleton, located on Holme Well Road, is celebrating summer by holding a Village Fete event on Saturday (14 June 2014).
The event, which is completely free, will provide Middleton residents with a summer fun day to be enjoyed by all the family.
The fete will take place at St George’s Field on St George’s Road from 10.30am – 4.30pm and entertainment on the day will include fun games such as Hook-a-Duck, Cactus Hoopla and Giant Garden Games including Connect 4 and Kerplunk amongst others.
There will also be a Kid’s Craft workshop allowing children to show off their creativity by designing t-shirts and decorating flags.
Asda Middleton is also celebrating the first England game of the World Cup on Saturday by offering locals the chance to take part in a score-to-win game.
Complimentary nibbles will be on offer all day, and families even have the chance to try out the smoothie bike – ride the bike to make your own smoothie!
