St Luke’s CARES has opened its third community charity shop on Throstle Lane in Middleton.
The shop offers excellent bargains and helps to recycle quality second hand goods, including clothing, household goods, toys, books, accessories and other items. Proceeds from the shop help to fund the work of the charity which supports young people throughout South Leeds, as well St Cross Middleton and its youth clubs.
Shop Manager Graham said:
“Business has been nice and steady since we opened six weeks ago. We’re open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Why not pop in for a look round and a chat with our friendly staff?”
The shop welcomes all kinds of donations which can be brought directly to the shop, or if you would like to donate furniture or bulky items please contact the collections team on 07800 512074 for a free collection. They also carry out house clearances for free.
If you are interested in volunteering in the shop, please speak to the manager.
