St Luke’s CARES launches brand new website

South Leeds charity, St Luke’s CARES has launched it’s brand new website. The website has been developed in partnership with Leeds based creative communications agency Magpie.

The new website captures all the different services St Luke’s CARES provides in this community from the youth projects The Shine Project and RISE, to ABCD work, to ESOL classes and retail training through the First Steps projects, to young mums groups, to tea time clubs, free school uniform and the ever growing and popular community cinema.

It also makes it really easy to donate furniture where you can get up to 9 items collected for free or book a extremely good value house clearance. All the donations are sold in the fantastic St Luke’s CARES charity shop and furniture warehouse on Dewsbury Road or on our ebay page to support all of the above projects.

As a charity we love being at the heart of inner south Leeds and being part of this wonderful community, we hope the new website serves the community by enabling us to communicate better who we are, what we do and how people can get involved.

While you’re here, can we ask a favour?

South Leeds Life is published by a not-for-profit social enterprise. We keep our costs as low as possible but we’ve been hit by increases in the print costs for our monthly newspaper which have doubled in the last two years.

Could you help support local community news by making a one off donation, or even better taking out a supporters subscription?
