The Yorkshire Evening Post covered our campaign to save Stank Hall Barn on Saturday. Don’t forget our public meeting is next Thursday 28th February at 7:00pm. Just to clarify, their picture shows Stank Hall and New Hall, as the fist comment points out the Barn itself is just to the left of these buildings.
The Save Middleton Park Golf Course campaigners responded to Council Leader Keith Wakefield’s tweet on Sunday that Leeds United need more investment to move forward. “Just like Gotts Park Golf Club & Middleton Park Golf Club eh?”, also suggesting that Middleton Park was the most profitable of Council’s four courses. The Hunslet Club are celebrating being nominated for the Leeds Sports Awards by thanking their dedicated staff and volunteers. “Hear, hear” we say.
Holbeck Neighbourhood Policing Team had a busy day on Sunday. They posted news of two in arrests for burglaries in the Holbeck/Beeston area another arrest of a man who has been wanted for over two years, thanks to information recieved. As they say “Keep the information coming!”. It’s all on their Facebook page.
