Members of the Cottingley TRAC group have been discussing whether the estate should have a peace garden.
The group’s discussion has been taking place on their facebook page and can be found here. One local resident who proposed the isea argues Morley, Rothwell, Churwell and Beeston all have remembrance memorials, why shouldn’t the estate?
The group is also discussing a possible reunion for regulars of The Sphinx pub – AKA Cottingley Arms – which was demolished last year.
