Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision on the M621 on Tuesday night (6 January 2015).
The incident happened at 5.15pm when a male pedestrian was in collision with a Peugeot 407 near to junction 2 (northbound) of the motorway (A643 Elland Road and Ingram Distributor). The Peugeot and a Mini Cooper were then in collision immediately following the initial incident.
The pedestrian – a 38 year old Leeds man – was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries and he remains in hospital in a critical condition.
Enquiries are continuing into the incident and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and in particular the movements of the pedestrian immediately before the incident.
