Police appeal for Owen Sharp of Middleton

Police in Leeds are continuing to appeal for information to locate a man believed to be injured following a stabbing incident in Leeds City Centre this week.

Enquiries suggest the man is thought to be Owen Sharp from Middleton and there are growing concerns over his welfare.

Officers are keen to locate him so the seriousness of his injuries, which he is thought to have suffered in the incident in St Paul’s Street in the early hours of Tuesday 9 April 2024, can be established as he may require medical attention.

He is described as white male, aged 32, about 5ft 5ins, small, with a slim face, brown hair and a stubble beard.

He was captured on CCTV in the burley area on Thursday morning wearing an orange coat, grey trousers and white trainers and has links to Armley and Hyde Park.

This is also a direct appeal to Owen himself or anyone he may be with, to contact police as we just want to check he is safe and well.

Anyone who has seen Owen or knows of his current whereabouts is asked to contact Leeds District CID without delay via 101 quoting reference 13240195980 or online via www.westyorkshire.police.uk/livechat.
