
Detectives in Leeds investigating a reported attempted kidnap are seeking assistance in identifying the man in these CCTV images.
The incident occurred at around 1.20am on Friday 14 November 2025, on The Oval, Hunslet. A man approached the victim, a 21-year-old woman, from behind and grabbed her. The woman was able to get away from the man and get to a place of safety.
The suspect is described as being unsteady on his feet and, after this incident, was seen walking unsteadily through the Morrisons car park towards Hunslet Library.
Following CCTV enquiries in the vicinity of the offence, police would like to identify the man in these images and are keen to speak to any members of the public who can assist.
In the CCTV images he appears to be holding a green sleeping bag.
